Cutler is a line of bodybuilding supplements marketed by, four-time Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler. King is an anabolic formula designed to provide extra muscle mass and with such a regal-sounding name it sounds as if it is destined to reign supreme. It is the first of the Phosphatidic acid supplements to buck the trend of using the trademarked Mediator blend, which can no longer be patented by Chemi-Nutra or developed the first soy-based derivative.
What is Cutler King and what does it Do?
King is primarily designed to work as an mTOR anabolic signaling compound. It provides a form of protein called enzyme kinase mTOR that is important for regulating the signaling network that is responsible for skeletal muscle growth. Some tests show stimulating mTOR improves squat capabilities by 37%, provides a 55% increase in bench strength, and facilitates 26 times as much muscle growth (all comparisons refer to a placebo group).
CrazyBulk Anabolics
Recently we’ve tested the CrazyBulk ‘Legal Steroid’ line and we were very impressed. So much so that many of us have adopted them into our permanent supplement stash.
The range of supplements they offer covers such a wide spectrum there’s arguably nothing they have left out. Also, they can be combined with each other to make some killer stacks.
Currently there is a tailor made Bulking Stack and Cutting Stack for the two most effective periods of your long term training schedule. We have reviewed those stacks, which you can read by clicking the link at the bottom of this coloured box. They do offer all of their products individually and can deliver anywhere in the world, either for free or very little delivery charge.
Key Ingredients
Each (2 capsule) dose provides:
- Vitamin D3 (4,800 IU)
- Niagin
- GLycoprotein Muscle Growth Proprietary Blend (1g)
Vitamin D3 can be obtained from food, but exposure to sunlight can trigger a process that allows the body to manufacture its own supply of the vitamin. It can boost the immune system and encourage the growth of healthy bones, and high levels of Vitamin D in general have been associated with optimal performance.
Niagin is a patent-protected ingredient that is reputed to enhance energy expenditure. There are either vague or complicated explanations of how it does this.
The Glycoprotein Muscle Growth Blend contains a trademarked ingredient called Activator (as Phosphatidic Acid {Lysophosphatidic Acid Phosphatidylserine Phosphatidylcholine Phosphatidylethanolamine Phosphotidylinositiol}).
The vital component in Activator is Phosphatidic Acid—a lipid messenger. The exact way it works is not known, but Phosphatidic Acid seems to have the ability to stimulate mTOR signaling and power-up the body’s muscle growth abilities. This is believed to happen largely in response to the actual stimulus of physical training.
Health Considerations
King is not suitable for women, anyone who is under the age of 18, or people allergic to aspirin. Medical advice is suggested prior to commencing supplementation and this is particularly important in the case of people who are taking medications or have any existing or suspected medical conditions.
How to use Cutler King
According to the label on the bottle, two capsules should be taken twice each day with food. Use of the product should be discontinued after eight weeks.
Guarantee
The Cutler line of products is sold without a money back guarantee.
Customer Feedback
Customer reviews are unusually hard to find. This is a fact that has been mentioned on more than one bodybuilding forum. The lack of reviews is probably due to the sort lifespan of the product so far. Cutler released the product during the summer of 2014, but within a matter of just months it was no longer available from his site and the stock levels at 3rd party retailers began to dwindle. Overall though, the feedback that is available suggests an effective product.
“Crazy gains man! This stuff gets serious results. No after the gym soreness either even though I am working out harder now.”
“I’ve seen some massive strength increases since I began using this product and it provides some great pumps. I’m going to stick with it for a while and see if it can keep on keeping on> If it does I’ll make it one of my regular supplements. “
“Better pumps. More strength. More energy and awesome muscle response with each and every repetition. What’s not to love? Try it you won’t be disappointed its one of the best PA supplements out there.”

Purchasing Options
At the time of this review it was still possible to purchase King via GNC and a few other stores, but how long this will remain the case is impossible to say. The GNC price was reduced from $49.99 to a “sale price” of $36.99.
There appears to be a shortage of King in every outlet. The chat on bodybuilding forums suggest there is a supply issue with one or more of the ingredients. However, the product is not even on the Cutler website so whether it is coming back at all is another question.
