Fuel One PhosphaBuild is a bodybuilding supplement produced by Sportika and, if the product potential is as good as the marketing claims, use of the formulation should protect against muscle damage and improve mTOR signaling to provide intense muscle gains.
What is mTOR and what does it Do?
Mammalian target of rapamycin is a bit of a mouthful so the compound is usually referred to by its abbreviated name—mTOR. Cutting to the chase, it is a specific form of protein and the mTOR signaling pathway combines intracellular and extracellular signals to help regulate cell metabolism, cell growth, and cell proliferation and survival.
Anabolic Stacks from CrazyBulk
CrazyBulk have manufactured and extensive range of legal steroid-like supplements. Each of them have their own purpose but also combine to make stacks and combinations that we have found to be very effective.
With or without a phosphatidic acid supplement like Phosphabuild, the CrazyBulk products can take you to another level, as long as you are committed to fulfill your end of the bargain in the gym.
We reviewed the Bulk and Cut stacks, but you can see many of the individual supplements within those articles. Follow the link immediately below to read more about them.
Key Ingredients
Each dose (5 capsules) provides 1,980mg of the Phospha Build Matrix proprietary blend. It consists of just two ingredients—Mediator and cherry fruit powder.
Mediator
Mediator is a trademarked form of soy-enriched phosphatidic acid (50% phosphatidic acid). A number of studies show it has the power to increase mTOR signaling. It also outperforms other egg/soy forms of phosphatidic acid, so it is fast becoming a popular ingredient in bodybuilding formulations.
The main study of Mediator’s abilities was conducted in Florida at the University of Tampa. The test subjects were given 750mg of Mediator each day and the results were very good.
- Muscle gains of 5.3lbs.
- Improved leg press abilities (up by 60%)
- Body Fat Loss (2.9lbs)
- 68% gains in the large quadriceps muscles
Cherry Fruit Powder
Research conducted at the Sports and Exercise Science Research Center at London South Bank University (United Kingdom) indicates tart cherries contain antioxidants that can speed up post-training recovery times and protect muscle tissues from damage.
Ten trained athletes were give two (1oz.) doses of tart cherry juice concentrate per day for seven days. The data showed supplementation with the juice caused the muscle tissue to return to 90% normal force within 24 hours. Without the juice the same period of time would normally only allow the muscle force to return to 85% normal force.
The researchers attributed the increased healing rate to anti-inflammatory, antioxidants called anthocyanins, which also provide cherries with their colour.
How to use Fuel One
The label states one 6 capsule serving should be once each day, but fails to mention if a specific time will optimize results. The Fuel One website is more informative, stating the capsules should be taken half an hour before training, but it also states the dosage is five capsules, not six, and warns against exceeding five capsules in any 24-hour period.
Health Considerations
The label states the formulation is not suitable for pregnant or nursing mothers. Although the label fails to state this, anyone who has any health problems or is taking medication would be wise to seek medical advice before using Fuel One or any other form of dietary supplement.
Guarantee
Fuel One is sold without a money back guarantee.
Customer Feedback
Customer feedback is very good.
A few example reviews read:
“It’s expensive, but I decided to give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. After a month of use I noticed some pretty good strength increases and could see I looked a little bigger. My girlfriend hasn’t been training as long as me, but she tried it too and neither of us can believe the difference it’s made to her strength and size—she’s turning into an Amazon! So highly recommended for beginners and experienced lifters alike.”
“No side effects and it does what it says on the tin. The mirror does not lie. I’m bigger—-and pressing weights I never dreamed possible (not so soon anyway). I can train harder now and I recover faster. One word—–AWSOME!!!!!!!!”
“Wow! Something that works at last. It’s surprised me I can tell you. My recovery time has been cut in half and my strength gains in just two weeks were phenomenal! I feel like a new woman–don’t’ tell the wife ;-)”
“I had my doubts about Fuel One. It seemed a little too good to be true and it is prohibitively expensive, but in the end I though why not and gave it a try. I’m still not sure if its worth so much money, but it get the job done so I’m not complaining. I made some good gains in the first month and didn’t feel so sore after hitting the gym. I think I’ve shed some fat as well. Wish it were cheaper, but that’s just life I suppose.”
